Order your Green Mountain Moss Variety Box today and experience the beauty and tranquility these exquisite mosses bring to your indoor designs.

Mosses are a type of Bryophyte, which are a non-vascular plant. Unlike other plants, moss has no internal veins transporting water and nutrients from the root system. Instead of roots, mosses soak up water directly through their tiny leaves. Moss grows small hair-like strands underneath called rhyzoids, which look like roots but are used for clinging to surfaces, substrates, and even each other.

Since moss loves moisture, it makes them ideal candidates for terrariums and other humid setups like paludariums, vivariums, ripariums, and even bonsai trees. Experimenting with different setups is always recommended to find what works best for your location and growing environment.

All Green Mountain Moss is grown and ethically harvested from its natural environment in Southwestern Vermont on our families and friends' land. All mosses are hand-picked, cleaned, and soaked in fresh mountain water. I do my best to pick out all the pine needles, twigs, and foliage, but some may remain, along with tiny hitchhikers.

Moss can withstand freezing temperatures and ships extremely well in winter.

Unfortunately, I can't ship moss internationally at this time.

Nice moss, very happy to have!

Arrived fresh and fit in my mailbox. Most of it still looks great and growing in the right conditions after a couple weeks.
